Shower Doors With A Bench

Densities and granularity control system in popular culture (II)

Perhaps Messenger of Darkness (the original The Mothman Prophecies ) case of the most successful film on the control system The exogenous factor and emotional manipulation . Based on the book's lead author John Keel Fortean , written and directed by Mark Pellington and premiered in 2002, describes the events in Point Pleasant, a town of Virginia in North America, where they occur a number of abnormalities that culminate in the fall of the Silver Bridge over the Ohio River Bridge.

The film however, adds a number of additional strands to the story of the book, putting an event of high emotion due to the loss of the protagonist's wife, related to this, there is a strange accident where Mothman encounter . dialogue John Klein speaks for itself to find a deliberate attack hyper:
One day you're just driving in your car ... Along and the universe ... just points at you and says ... "Ah, There You Are, a happy couple. I've been looking for you. I've been looking for you." [One day you're just driving your car ... and the universe ... points to you and says ... "With that there are, a happy couple.'s Been looking for. The was looking"]
But to the trained eye, this creature appears even before this fateful event covertly as an electrical pulse or an anomaly in the telephone line, a rotation of the director to stay ahead of the central scene of the film.

Years after the tragedy, an image projected on multiple TVs (perhaps in a nod to Matrix ) surprise ponerological a clear description of democracy: I think
That Are These parties demonizing Each Other. PROJECTING They're Our Own Fears and anxieties personal ... onto the national stage. People don 't like it. People are very, very unsatisfied at the moment. Because It Makes Them complacent They don 't see Any Possibility of change. [I think the parties are demonizing each other. Are projecting our personal fear and anxiety ... on the national stage. People do not like that. The people are really dissatisfied today. They are docile because they see no possibility of change]
The thread of this scene leads to a solitary journey by car to be made by the protagonist to interview political campaign, and here it appears exogenous factor in a clear case of abduction physical (when the car is on the edge of Point Pleasant, one can see signs in heaven and hear a noise like a long take-off). This explains how John Klein (and self) have come in just a couple of hours 800 kilometers ... is also curious details of the event time: close to 3 am .

As the plot unfolds, there are subtle details that should not go unnoticed: the images displayed on the mirrors do not always return the reflection of the protagonist (perhaps an allusion to Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice There Found?), the different methods used Indrid Cold to prophesy and to communicate, the interpretations of the apparitions and reptilians abductions (when Lucy mentions height and the hypnotic eyes of an entity, which counts the couple to be caught in your car and 's description of her partner Gordon ).

Of course the film's central scene is the dialogue between care John Klein and Indrid Cold (*), further reinforced by the excellent analogy that made Alexander Leek on densities or orders of consciousness :
If There Was a car crash ten blocks away, window washer That Could Probably up there see it. Now, That Does not mean he's God, or We Are Smarter Than events. But From Where he's sitting, I can see a little Further down the road. [If there is a shock to ten blocks away, that window cleaner probably would. But it does not mean that God, or even smarter than us. But from his position, he can see the path to better view]
The story also touches on themes of obsession (samskara possibly due to loss and emotional grind John ) and also demonstrates the enormous control that can show the rulers in the handling of human reality, through telephones, communications and electrical equipment when they are challenged or have an agenda to complete.

Curiously, after Poltergeist, the film sustains the terrible record of "damn movie, with apparently a lot of people involved died shortly premiere ... fulminant disease is notable for the director's wife, Jennifer Barrett-Pellington who died in 2004. The phrase Leek Gnostic sense: 're not allowed to know. [We are not allowed to know].
***
(*) Some people assume that the dialogue never exists and occurs only in the minds of John , but the Director has left important clues: first there is a recording, but also when analyzing the tape, the technician indicated that the voice seems to come from human vocal cords, more importantly is what we see on the scene when Connie runs under the snow to the house of Gordon, who attends sweaty and very light clothes despite the low temperature is more, if you look carefully at the scene discovered a ceiling fan on: perhaps a hint that Gordon was in trance, channeling the phone to Indrid Cold .

For those wishing to learn more about the book and its author, and the way to practice your English, here is an elaborate test: Notes on The Mothman Prophecy by John Keel .
